i got fed up of reading the tacky comments so i gave up....lol i cant understand why peeps feel the mullet is a bad hair do!! i think its cool and so 80's man i loved them days......as for the party its their choice and not my business. if we hadnt been told about it we would never have known. (theres a lot of envy for their fortune too ) hence im keeping out of this one............. BRING BACK THE MULLETT THO luv sue xx

Making fun of people...I just don't understand. I don't think it is funny, but that is my opinion It has nothing to do with money.

i think they are just making fun of themselves i dont think its meant to offend anyone. (i think the mention of their kazilliones !! shows the envy.. ) its ususal press stuff it all gets blown out of proportion.....whatever they do someone will always slate them for it in the press and make a mountain out of a molehill. sorry but i have to laugh at it ....life is just too short to worry about stuff like this....luv sue xx

...Geee...reading these idiotic comments of peeps out there on the web, I really believe too many people are way too hung-up on way too many things and should just let people be people no matter who they are.

I don't even think they were trying to make fun of anybody at all. They just came up with the idea it would be fun to have a theme-wedding "renew-our-vows" party. And I bet, when they started to contemplate about it, they both were laughing tears about it. Good for them!!!

I was basically rolling on the floor laughing when I saw Seal in the mullet wig...OMG...how funny does he look??? I have to give it to him, he is quite a sport to follow Heidi's nutty ideas. Their marriage will last forever...how can it now...they will never run out of fun things to do to keep themselves happy!!!

I met a beautiful soul today. We had been to the hospital to see my father in law and coming home we stopped to eat at a steak house. I met one of those truely optimistic souls who shared with us. Her light was beautiful. In an hour we discussed food and family, life, and music. She was our waitress and come to find out her parents love Seal's music. She loves people, travelling, and it shows. Her name was imeani and I knew a lifetime friend in one short hour. I may never see her again, but I will never forget her spirit...it was "real".

How does it apply to this issue? So many people have this light in them, but they forget how to share it. We look at others and if they are different...don't talk to them... they are "trash". Differences are made by class, race, the smug attitudes can be subtle, or pronounced. To make fun of a culture can be demoralizing. Because everyone does it?... doesn't make it right, and if you have been there? You might not want to be a part of it.

Being sensitive, caring for others is important, no matter how much you make, or what color you are...many have voiced disappointment over Seal and Heidi's lack of sensitivity. (point in fact, the swine flu announcement with the little pigs running around, camper in the background, trash on the ground...announcement on the web). Guess bad publicity...is good publicity?

Making fun of other's is not my forte. I choose to be respectful. I know...I don't kiss ass just because I think Seal and Heidi are cool, and I love them dearly. What they did was "uncool" to some people, and they have a right to that opinion.

I haven't posted here in a while but here I am. I do from time to read the comments. I had to post here because I think that you've misunderstood Seal and Heidi's intent. First, they are not American so they view these things differently and probably see it as something to do for fun. Second, she is after all pregnant, I mean barefoot and pregnant anyone. I do think that some people have been reading too much into it.

We all know that they do a different theme every year and this is the one that they choose. Also, you have to remember that this was never meant for the public and it was meant in fun. I honestly don't believe that they were being insensitive. You know?


Also, don't you find the swine flu just a big over the top. I mean the coverage. The reported cases are so small that it really should be news.

I understand that it was a party. It is just my way to stick up for others. I do have a sense of humor, but it is not inclined to be "cruel" or disrespectful toward anyone. I love Seal and Heidi dearly, so your point is well taken

People are taking it seriously. We were looking for masks at 3 different drug stores and they are sold out. I was told that the furniture market people bought them all up when they came to this area for the market show. We did buy a box of gloves to keep on hand, and I am still on the lookout for a box of masks.

Maybe the press has gone overboard, but it is better to be prepared. If the government played it down, and there was no press, and the outbreak got out of hand...there would be a big uproar. Better to be prepared;O)
