The sound for Daughty seemed off..too much treble or something.

The tone could have been adjusted a bit on Daughtry's performance, but I still enjoyed it. I have enjoyed Paula's work for a long time.

Well, between Seal and Paula, as far as singing talent? >Seal...but, Paula's choreography onstage is Hot.

We got best available B-FLR row 21 seats 5-6 which is center Not real close, but I will take some ear plugs in case the screaming hurts my ears...hehehe

I didn't think I was going to get good tix, because I first got row C and by the time I filled everything out they had released those tix...but B is center, so I am happy The biggest thing is NO MIDDLE MAN. They were straight from ticketmaster and were $69.50@.

Wow the three muskateers and it was down to the wire between Danny, Adam and Kris. They all did great last night so I knew it would be a tough call.

I have to say that I love the vocals of both singers, so it will hard to decide next week. They will both have to kick it up a notch and give it all they got.

Jordan sang tonight and she was sultry hot. It was a change from her down home look on the Idol tour. She was so sweet to the audience.

The Ford fusion commercial was again top notch with a "ah ha" theme. I really love the animation.

Noah sang "I am the world's greatest"

Katy Perry sang "Waking up in Vegas" Not too keen on her voice, or wardrobe.

I believe he is from California and he seems to be very appreciative and humble. He can sing;O) He has that Elvis "look".

Kris is very popular too and I think he can "Rock it" also. This has turned out to be a great season...the talent has evolved into something special.

Danny is good I am sure he will have a chance at the record deals too. Danny will also be a part of the tour, are you going to get tickets for the Idol tour? I went out to eat with a friend and we discussed the show and she said that she wished they were going too.

Final show tonight...

When Adam sang 'A Change is Gonna Come' I just GROANED out loud. It was ok.

Did anyone notice that the final song...sung by both guys...they had TELEPROMPTERS for them...since when do the contestants get HELP remembering the words? I thought that last song was really kinda lame..I was hoping Simon would trash it but I guess with a co-author sitting 2 down, he didn't want to totally slam her. LOL!

Bottom line: ADAM WINS...hands down.

Mad World is really an amazing song by Adam.

The night was amazing. Adam does do a wonderful job with Mad World...love it I thought of Seal when he sang a Change is gonna come. I was a bit surprised that Simon Fuller picked that song, but I thought Adam nailed it in his own style. I will buy it.

Not to diminish Kara's songwriting talent, but... I thought that the songs were not right for the finale. Adam's version was definately better than Kris's. I even heard Kris stop a note abruptly...too high for him? They were a bit too difficult or a better example "Wordy" for the last songs. Using a teleprompter makes me think they were thrown in at the last minute as some kind of plug for Kara? It is like throwing a curve ball at the last minute.


James manned the phone to vote last night, but he had a hard time getting through. My vote went to Adam and his to Kris. I love them both though. We noticed that it was harder to get through on Kris's line...does that mean that he will get more votes? We will just have to wait and see

This competition has been so cool this year. They are all winners in my book, and I can't wait to see them perform in August.

Both of them are class acts, and I wish them all a successful tour.

Wow, what a night...star studded and the "Dark Horse" won it. Thing is that Kris has had a very strong fan base, and that is what clinched it for him. Best wishes to all Loved Adam rockin' with Kiss...his outfit was sooo cool! Was Tatiana suppose to get up and sing? Loved Santana and Queen:O)

and how about Steve Martin on the banjo with Megan and Matt...I REALLY loved that cute little song.

And finally...how wonderful was David Cook last night? I have mentioned that song on here before..'Permament'. It is a hauntingly beautiful song and I cry EVERY time I hear it..last night was no exception. I LOVE, LOVE David Cook. He and Elliott Yamin are my favorite past Idol contestants ever!!!!

Kris winning last night reminded me of how I felt in Season 5...when Taylor Hicks won. Shoulda been Chris Daughtry or Elliott that year....or in Season 2, when Clay lost to Reuben...sometimes the best singer does not WIN this SINGING contest.

I didn't know that Steve Martin played the banjo...cool. Yea, I liked his little ditty too. It was also great to hear Rod Stewart sing Maggie Mae. I indeed listened to David Cook's song and it was a nice tribute to his brother.

Ryan Seacreast filled in for Larry...he is a natural. I hope when Larry retires he will consider Ryan as his replacement.

Is Ellen the best replacement for Paula Abdul?

When it was announced that Paula was not coming back to Idol, I went into a "funk", because I really enjoyed her on the show. She was funny, considerate, and let's face it, she can dance like there's no tomorrow. I also enjoyed the banter between her and Simon. Yes, I lament, she will be missed;O)

I also feel that women should be paid as much as men. Did money play a factor in Paula's decision? At first, I thought not, because she has other things going on. Maybe it was a little of both? But, again I say that women should get equal pay for equal work...period.

In steps Ellen. There was a poll on Twitter about Ellen taking over for Paula on Idol. At the time I voted it was almost 50/50. Half the voters wanted her, and half didn't. Ok, that's fair enough, but what are the real reasons people don't want her judging? Is it because they don't think she is qualified, or is it because of her gender preferences?

I say this because a member of my family now does not want to watch Idol because Ellen was picked, and it is just because she prefers women. It doesn't have anything to do with her professional attributes. Now you all know, I am my own person, and I am for Ellen. She is funny, smart, and beautiful, and if I were inclined so,(but i'm not), I would date her...not that she would date me, but you know what I mean;O) I'm going to still watch Idol and to Ellen? You go girl! Yea, I will miss Paula, but I look forward to the witty and fun Ellen. Win the Idol Audience over Ellen!
