I thought it was time to start a prayer chain. Today,

I would like to ask prayer for my nephew whose lung collapsed while swinging a golf club. He is home recovering now.

I would like to ask prayer for Jan's little girl who fell down the stairs. His little one is on the mend.

I would like to ask prayer for LauraS and her family as they are dealing with the aftermath of a home fire.

I would like to ask prayer for Cara and her kids as they deal with drastic changes in their life.

If there is someone that you know who needs kind thoughts, or prayers sent up for them, then please put it in this thread. Whether they are religious or not it doesn't matter...there are no judgements... just healing wishes. (We all share a human spirit bond.)

special prayers going out for my mom tonight, I just got the call from my sister, not long ago, she has to have a biopsy done on her lungs.

Prayers please for my boss, John. He has been dealing with a shingles-type rash that they don't know what it is. Stress-related so he has decided to leave his job. I have never really loved a boss before like I adore this man so I am devastated. He has had a lot of people sending him healing so if you could just surround him with love I would appreciate it. He understands me better than anyone. The board of directors will be deciding who my next boss is so prayers for me too please!! You would think that psychic people would be spiritual as well but a lot of the ones we deal with are not. John is a very sensitive caring medium and the stress of dealing with some of these people might be the cause of this illness. I don't know. It sounds like I have a thing for my boss. I do. He's the nicest gay man I know! Some people think he's being psychically attacked. I don't know about that. If he is, let me at 'em. Which is not the most loving attitude. Sorry to go on and on but I have been so depressed about him leaving and the pain that he is in.

A prayer for my father, he is going to know if he is getting better from his cancer!

Hi Carla, I will be praying that your dad has a good report from the doctor concerning his cancer. Much love is sent.

Allyson, I have heard that stress is very hard on the human body. Shingles can be very painful. I have also heard that if you have had chicken pox, then you are more prone to get shingles. An antibiotic might help John's condition. Here is a website explaining shingles: http://www.rb59.com/medical-health-info/shingles.html Looks like Valtrex is used for a treatment. Rest may also help John. Hopefully he will heal and get to go back to work. I will pray for him too...healing thoughts are sent!

PS...If you can contact him...vitamin C or a good multivitamin might build up his immune system Also, he should try and relax thinking only positive thoughts, this will help ward off any negative energies.

Thank you for your prayers for John. He is doing much better now. He is still leaving though so it has been rough. On top of that, my co-worker Jim didn't show up for work last week. He's done this before but usually calls. No one could get a hold of him and I had a very bad feeling. His brother-in-law called the other night and asked when we had last heard from Jim. They were going to his apartment. They did find him there but he had been dead for about a week. We are in shock here. So prayers please for my co-workers, Jim's family and friends and some peace for Jim. Thanks.

I am glad that John is feeling better, and I wish him the best in whatever he decides to do.

I am sorry that you have also lost a co-worker to death. Love and prayers are sent to you and his family.

Sometimes it is hard to understand why some spirits leave early, either through sickness, or choice. Some people have a hard time telling others they are phyically sick, and then on the other hand, it can be hard for them to reach out if they have lost hope in living.

Sometimes family and friends can carry guilt because they didn't get to say goodbye, or they didn't call, or go by earlier. "What if?"

It is important to realize that although we can plan for a new life to be born, we can not control how we leave in death, unless we commit suicide.

It is no one's fault, but we go through all the grief and guilt, and it is healing to let it out.

May family and friends find Peace during this time of sadness, and may Jim's spirit continue on in your hearts.
