First click on Go in the upper left corner of the Seal Forum page. Scroll to Personal Zone, and then Scroll to Private Messaging and click on it. Then click on new private message on the left.

To start a message you have to have forum members in your contact list.

Click find new buddies on the lower left.
Put the person you want to contact in the the text box and click search.

Check the box beside the nickname, and click Add selected members. Close the window.

Scroll your my contacts list for the person you want to send a PM to. Then Click the Add button.
Click the invite members button and start your message.

you can send several members a message at one time.

If you want to receive private messages make sure you have that function enabled in your preferences.

I have board notifications set to on, but lately I haven't received any notifications in email so you may need to check the board for the little PM mail notification that flashes at the top of the page.
