Hi doozie, An administrator has access to all, (except maybe PM'S?), aspects of a website. This means that they can upgrade software on the site, if available, they can add information to the site, and they can delete information. Think of them as the "boss", who can handle several things. Michael is "one" main man, (Seal another), so to speak. Also, there could be other people behind the scenes that we don't know about "Charles Bang Productions" for one. A moderator, is someone who has limited access. They can move posts, and delete, when trolls are about. This is what Fast does. He also keeps an eye on things when Michael can't be here. It is a big job to keep us all happy, and I think that they do a super job Doozie, you are a senior member. That is someone who has been on the site for awhile Love, Janet

Janet...Thanks so much for answering my questions..and making me a senior member as well!! I do not have as many posts as others, but i check in many times a day! Lucky for you guys I keep alot of my thoughts to myself!!!

Though, you may also be considered a senior member to your peers here if the content of your posts are consistently informative pertinent to the discussion. In that regard, you could have joined last month, or 2 years ago and have anywhere from ~100 posts to a million 200,000 posts...

I've just "stumbled" upon this thread and saw that someone mentioned how some posts have been removed. Well that has happened to me also. Something I posted within a thread was removed. I find it quite amusing. Over the past year or so I have come to realize that if my opinion does not fit in with the majority, or something that does not exude "love love love", to brace myself for awful responses or better yet, a removal of my posts.

Why do I still visit? Because I am a huge Seal fan, I DO have real friends on this site, and this helps to pass the time at work (shhhh!). So I don't take the "attacks" or edits seriously anymore. Sorry to disappoint anyone who likes to debate . . .

Please let me know by PM or email if you ever have a question about a missing post. Really. The only times I've ever removed posts was if I felt the topic was truly harmful to Seal and the members. These include mailicious posts targeted at members as well as people belittling Seal for his choosing to date a woman of a different race...

I do move things around occassionally and perhaps things get screwed up when moving from one forum to another, though I doubt it... The fact of the matter is that there was a hard drive failure, which was not mine, but of the company who hosts the forum, and that caused these missing posts and presumably yours as well. If you send me an email or PM giving me the topic I can look into it for you...

But I do understand ur role as an Admin. I also understand my position as a adult. U keep doing what u do the best way u know how! Stay blessed and don't ever feel obligated to validate nonesense. If my position as an adult ever interferes with ur position as an Admin I wil make sure 2 find my way out the same way I found my way in. W/O argument and on my own volition.
