Ok, If you would like to still see a few of the full Togetherland tracks released as a Togetherland "Fan's Choice" cd with proceeds going to The American Red Cross as LauraS had mentioned before, then please add your name to this thread now. If we get enough people involved then maybe...just maybe...

We would like to see a Fan's Choice Togetherland cd made with proceeds going to The American Red Cross, or charity of Seal's choice.

Also, the alternative would be for Seal to put the tracks up on Itunes, if a cd is not possible.

Sounds like a good plan to me. It could be made available as a CD or download. Fans could be asked to donate whatever they feel they could afford (perhaps with a minimum donation). It would be great to hear these tracks. Sign me up. Anyone know how many unreleased gems Seal has sitting on old tapes in a cupboard somewhere? Did anyone produce them with Seal or are they just demos?

Tracks for the Togetherland album:

Seal co-wrote Togetherland with Dave Palmer:

1. Step Away
2. Keep On
3. Love Is Better
4. Eliz (or Elise)
5. Under The Sun
6. Heaven
7. English Lover
8. Breathe
9. Let It Ride
10. All I Wanted To Say
11. Togetherland

Seal worked with Pill on:
Breathe (2000)
Is It A Dream? (2000)
God Sits At The End of It All (2000)

Seal took the song "Heaven" and revised it to "This Could Be Heaven". The song was used in the movie "The Family Man" with Nicholas Cage.

An instrumental called "Train" was also being worked on during the Togetherland period with Dave Palmer at the keyboard.

Other tracks Champainge, and American?
If anyone can give us details about these extra songs, then please post Wink

Love, Janet

I really feel that those tracks are worth putting on Itunes, or on a cd...we need more signatures for this to be taken seriously. If you know of any fans who would be interested in this, please contact them Wink

Peace, Janet

i think the tracks are good , graham ( my son ) thought i was playing the new album lol. if seal did release it for charity I dont mind which country the charity is in as long as it helps. i chose fostering because what happened to seal and also because children are precious.i think maybe a poorer country would need help more with funding although that is just an assumption. what do you think or should seal decide for us ?? i mean it is his music after all ..... Smile luv sue xx

Wow! Thanks Deef and Ladysingstheblues for the gem. From the couple of tracks, I have to say that Togetherland sounds like a "return to the roots" just like System is turning out to be. It definitly doesn't sound very commercial like Warner Bros. had said, but these songs are absolutely great, especially "Love Is Better" IMO.

Actually, if they wanted something more "sellable" I don't see why they just didn't shorten up the songs a little bit and added more catchy 'hooks'. Now that the songs have sunk in a little bit, they are just wonderful almost soundtrack-sounding songs. These Togetherland songs are not made just to make a buck, not some quick wannabe hit, but more-so Togetherland is in it's own class.

That is why musicians are called "Recording Artists". They create masterpieces from their viewpoints and vistas. Not all art will sell millions, but as collectors we appreciate the sheer beauty of it, and will buy it.

Please pass the word along to any Seal fans you know. Smile

It`s really good to see that we are on a good way about "TOGETHERLAND".

I have heard the 4 songs on this site too (THANKS FOR THIS AGAIN!!!) and for me the tracks are really very very great.....I love them!!!

So I would give a lot to hear the other full versions of this album as well as other unknown songs from Seal!!! Each new song from SEAL is a heavenly present!!!!!

In my mind Seal it`s the best musican on this planet - his voice is unbelieveable - so every song from Seal is FANTASTIC!!! Yes, you can say: I need his music in my life as well as the air for breathing!!!

So I hope very much that Seal will give us an positiv answer in the next time....I think there are good suggestions to make it possible that Togetherland will see the daylight!!! I will pray for it!!!

In the meantime I`m looking forward to hear SYSTEM!!!! Y E A H !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've listened a few times now and I think they're great songs. I suppose if the folk at Warners rejected the songs it must have been because they weren't commercial enough. Maybe they thought they'd be no good for radio airplay. Maybe too long? Perhaps Seal refused to let them do radio edits? We'll probably never know.
