I have only just now become a member of your site but have been a huge fan since your first CD. In my view, you are the finest musician out there. Your music lifts me to places and spaces within the heavens. At times when I listen to your more ethereal instrumental tracks, I feel as though I am floating high above the earth and away from its depressing trappings and snares. I have run many a mile listening to your second CD. I have cried many a tear listening to other tracks. I have danced many a dance to still others.

The mark of a truly gifted musician is to be able to portray soul and character through the music in such a way that the listener has no choice but to be moved and changed just by it. Your music does this for me.

You mentioned in your post that your last CD was not well promoted in the UK. You also mentioned that your experience of making music was "like God telling you that you are doing what you're supposed to be doing in this life". Clearly, God has made you to speak to us with your music. As for not being promoted properly in your country, recall the words of Jesus in Luke 4:24 "Truly I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown". Not that you are a prophet or some sort of deity. You are not. But assuredly you are gifted by God. Thank you for being obedient to God's call upon your life. I and millions of your fans, are forever grateful. If I had the chance, I would shake your hand and say "Thank you, Brother". I am grateful.

Barrister, you just have to go see Seal live to get the full impact of just how talented he is. I was awestruck. I am going to see him again this coming Oct. 22 at Atlantic City

I would fly down to Atlanta for the Oct 22 concert but I have work things to do. I need to find out well in advance where he is playing and fly there. Also, is it really hard to get tickets?

It's Atlantic City New Jersey-maybe you are closer than you think :-) I saw Seal at this venue last year and it was GREAT. It is called the music box and it is in the Borgata casino. I do not gamble, but it was interesting anyway. Had dinner and went to the show. Parking is in the building......very easy to get in.....If you can, do yourself a favor and go. You can order tickets online and receive them in a day or two. I am taking my two sisters and my mother, since my wife doesn't want to go again(although she was blow-away by how good Seal was). Dave

Welcome on board barrsitter!! I'm in Ontario too also cannot make it to Atlantic City. But have hope that he will be touring with the release of the new CD hopefully he'll be in Toronto then we can both see Seal there are lots of Seal fans in this neck of the woods.

After learning that Seal was having a second concert in Atlantic City, I booked myself a ticket! I will attending the October 23 show in AC and can hardly wait to see my favourite artist, live and up close. Looking forward to an evening with you, Seal and with your devoted and loyal fans. Ah...no kidding. I saw you in concert for the first time at the Music Box, October 23, 2004. I was blown away, my friend. Absolutely blown away at the magnitude of your talent. I swear dear friend, you could knock a building over with your voice! And when you moved and danced, you reminded me of a cheetah coiled and exuding powerful energy. Like you, each of your band members are gifted musicians. I loved watching them play. Awesome! I just can't wait to hear a live album. I hope one is coming out soon.

Thank you Seal for heeding God's call on your life. You touch each of us with your voice, musicianship, lyrics and music. But the thing that I really know now for certain now, is that you have intense joy and love in your heart. The joy you feel when you sing, is unmistakable. I loved how you sang to us, Saturday night.

I spent a packet of money flying from Toronto to Atlantic City, staying over night, etc., etc. and will NEVER regret one penny of it!

Did he sing bother-sister repeatedly at the end of Killer after the band stopped? He did on Friday and it was amazing. Glad you went! I sat in the last row in section 300 next to the asile near the sound-mixing equipment on Friday-it was great.

Seal didn't sing Killer on Saturday I don't believe. I don't actually have a list of all the songs he sang and what's more, I don't have all the titles committed to memory but he did sing most of his second album. For the encore he did Crazy and Bring in On, both of which were mind-blowing. Thanks David for encouraging me to go. It was a rare treat. I was in row M which was the first row of the back section. Stage Left, 3rd seat in from the aisle. Great view of everything.

I didn't really care much for Atlantic City but I really enjoyed wandering around Philadelphia before my plane took off on Sunday.
