Your music is such an inspiration. I enjoyed seeing you in concert...and hearing you sing "Don't Cry"..that is the song I sang to my son when he was born 1995 when he would cry and it would sooth him, why because I played your CD all the time...that is all he knew...

I just joined the site and I like to say that when ever I go on vacation particular to Maui Hawaii each year I always take my Seal cd,s with me. The feeling of being in Hawaii seems like heaven, so when im there I turn on seal and it makes the feeling of being in heaven complete. Imagine getting up in the early morning, taking a walk on one of Maui’s beaches with a headset listening to seals music. It places a power neuro association in you for life. Gene

Seal,

I just saw you tonight at the Luther Burbank Center, in Santa Rosa. My husband, friend Susan and I all thoroughly enjoyed the show. Thanks so much for adding the venue to your tour. I was lucky enough to get standing room only tickets when I learned about it just a few days ago.

You have been my favorite artist for the past 12 years - the number is significant, because I remember that I bought my first SEAL album when my son was a year old. He's now 13 and also very much enjoys your music. My daughter, who is 10 is also a big fan. I was so happy to hear you mention your lovely family of four during the concert tonight. Congratulations! The love and joy you feel for your family was so present.

I am grateful to have now seen you play live, and I hope I'll have the chance to do so again. I just wanted to say thank you. Your music brings me a lot of happiness.

Best of Luck to you,
Elisa

Not sure if it'll get read, but it's not like I'm losing anything. So here goes:

Dude, I have so been a fan of yours since "Crazy" first showed on MTV waaaaay the frag back when. I've kept up with your life and you are one of the artists that I can say I collect song unheard. Your music is that good, IMHO.

Your music has inspired me more than I can say. You showed me that you can do excellent songwriting and make band/acoustic music, but still have awesome electronic remixes of music. Your lyrics have struck the faery poetess in me, and your music has become a big part of the ongoing soundtrack of my life.

Keep on doin' what you do, dude. You most certainly have lots of fans that will keep on listenin', me included.

Thank you more than words could ever express,
Katie [DJ K8T]

Dear Seal

I sent an email through this website and was directed to post it on the forum so here it goes.......I know you probably receive hundreds if not thousands of emails and letters but I just wanted to add mine to it. I've loved your music from the beginning. You're such a talented singer and songwriter. Your songs touch me in the deepest kind of way. When I'm sad, happy or just feeling somewhere in between, listening to your music always makes me smile. Your latest new CD ~ SEAL IV ~ I just can't get enough of it. I've just purchased the Greatest hits and the DVD of videos and your Live in Paris CD/DVD. Looking at how you matured through the years through the videos brings back memories of where I was at the time of the videos, which again, makes me smile. I just love your rendition of 'Walk on By' and the video is good as well. But the acoustic set is what I keep in my CD player. your voice is just so amazing and it goes so well with the acoustic guitar. Your acoustic version of 'Just Like You Said' sends shivers down my spine every time I play it. I've never had the privilege of seeing you in concert but hopefully when you come back to the US.....specifically to Philadelphia, PA, I'll be right there cheering you on and singing right along with you. Keep up the good work and not to rush but I can't wait to see what you have coming next.

With Much Love
Anika

Old man Honeycutt walked from Pyatt to his home 2 miles away. He was crossin' Crooked Creek, when his wife heard him callin' "Sissy, come and get me...I'm somewhere over the moon" (the moon was shining on the water).

Hey Seal: I haven't said much to you or emailed you like many have, but I wanted to post this just because since coming to this site I have grown to appreciate and love what you represent to so many people. I can't say that I'm an avid fan or that I dream of one day meeting you, but I can say how happy I am for all the great things that have come into your life and I guess that I wanted to say how awesome it is to see you and your wife Heidi so happy together with your children in all the photos I come across in magazines now... It inspires me for different reasons. I had to laugh when I found out you had proposed to your wife in BC in Canada... as in my ignorance I posted that you should come to Canada and bring Heidi with you she'll love it here. Well, Canada is a real mellow place and loving country full of great humanbeings and I was tickled to hear that. Hopefully, you both can visit the other coast of Canada sometime for it's quiet and serene qualities as well. Still plugging subliminally for that East Coast Concert (lol)! Sorry, couldn't resist! Music is such a powerful medium. Our ancestors told stories and myths and histories and faith through it's medium. It is so powerful and I love the pure energy that you convey to others in your sound. I haven't heard anything negative from your music, only a reality or a pursuit to become a better person within. It's so damned refreshing, almost hymnal in quality, like a spiritual church service - minus the diety of course. I find your expressions very stimulating and I challenge myself to become a better writer, listener and more open, honest and raw with my heart. Another facet of you is how you have multiplied yourself in mentoring others through your music by way of example and heart. I sincerely hope that that never changes about you, regardless of the people who may try to exploit your successes for their own gains. I think that you possess character and heart and I'm honored to have learned so much more concerning what makes this energy I feel in your music so real through this site and through other fans, who are loyal and avid listeners. I just had to convey that to you.
Also wanted to say that I'm happy Leni and Dashtu are present in your life, with your Heidi. God Bless You All and watch over you all.
Love and Best wishes,
Rain! Big Grin

Hi Seal,
I've been exploring this site since March 1st'06, and I'm just blown away by the fact that so many persons around the world feel the same way about you and your music like I do. I was therefore a little hesitant to add to the posts (as I had already sent you a couple emails via your website), wondering if my comments would just be another repetition of what you already know. Anyway, I want you to know this: As far as modern artistes go I see YOU IN A CLASS BY YOURSELF, YOU SIMLPLY KEEP WIDENING THE GAP BETWEEN STARDOM AND TRUE MUSICAL GENIUS.
That said, (even if you don't read on) I also recently discovered your song "Lips like Sugar" and being from the Caribbean that just put my love for your talent at another great level, trust me that song SWEET LIKE SUGAR!
YOUR BIGGEST CARIBBEAN FAN!

Hello Seal,

thank you very much for the wonderful concert at the "Kesselhaus" in Duesseldorf.

It was an unbelievable gift for me to be among the crowd. It was not only the great music. It was so much more. Humanity, I think is the word.

God bless you and your family.

Best wishes from Duesseldorf Smile

Dear Seal

I am requesting that you listen to a song by
Mike and The Mechanics called "In the Living Years". It is about a young man singing to his father about their differences, and that they didn't see things eye to eye. It also touches on the differences that a lot of us feel about others in our lives.

The chorus goes:

"Sing loud, sing it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late when we die to admit
We don't see eye to eye"

I am very sure that you would love this song and that you would do an excellent cover of it.

Yours Sincerely
Mr. Bing

Hi,

I just joined the forum but have been your fan since 1999. I was in U.S. during that time when I listened to your music.

I was going through a very very tough time but your music rescued me. I still very much cry when I listen to some of your your songs especially "Prayer for the dying". There is so much in your music.

Thanks & God Bless You.
Sunil
