I've got some questions regarding lyrics for "Immaculate." So if you haven't used up you free listening yet on Rhapsody, it would be great to get some lines cleared up.

Some of what I wrote doesn't make any sense, but is just what I hear when it was played...especially the first and third verses. I'm really quite terrible at this, which is why I could use some lyric correcting.

Hi Robert,

I listened on Rhapsody until I only have 30 second clips left so I will have to wait until my order comes from Amazon, or my Itunes preorder is ready, but then, I can listen more closely to the lyrics Thanks for posting these.

Yeah, I know. I've used up the free plays like 3 times over now. Luckily, I've been able to use the school computers to listen to the songs along with my home computer. (I know, shame on me!)

Oh, trust me I used that more than you know. I actually meant that I've listened to all of the songs on my computer and others at school using up the 25 free plays. Sorry, I wasn't very clear...

As far as the lyrics go, thanks again! The only place I'm going to say I have to disagree is the bit where "I don't want to lose control but when it comes to rage," not that it matters much. It's amazing what others pick up compared to yourself. Thank you very much Althea!

Before the main lyrics start, listen carefully. What initially sounds like background sounds/music is actually Seal singing "If....all....the....world". Nice touch. Love it!

Oh..I thought this song was about them. How lovely.

It is about Heidi and Seal. Black skin/white skin and how their marriage is percieved to be a bad thing by society.

I actually didn't find this song too hard to transcribe.

And yes, it's definitely "Feather white skin," that makes the most sense. A little Seal trivia, this song was previously titled "Interracial Immaculate" and was slated as one of the possible tracks to go on Togetherland, but didn't make the "final" tracklisting.

I gotta try that one day...never thought of slowing down the speed...excellent idea.

I still like feather white skin better because in my mind...feathers are usually white, therefore, white makes more sense to me.

But you are right...it is the same difference no matter which way we sing it.

Now, I cannot wait to see if Seal performs this song live. My eyes will be glued to his lips and my ears will focus on his words to see which word he will sing live.

The feathers of ANGELS are USUALLY also represented white...and I am sure we all agree...SEAL most definitely falls into the category of being an ANGEL who loves to spread his love around the globe.
