In Love's Devine is the song about trying to get back with someone who Seal lost or is it singing to someone he already has? I am trying to choose a wedding song and I don't want to choose a song that sounds awesome but is about not ending up with the one you love. Anyone have any help for me?

Love's Divine is a beautiful song. I thought it meant realizing what love meant through faith. Losing it and then finding it again.

I think "This Could be Heaven" is a good song too:O)

Oooooh, I think the beauty of music is in part due to our subjective interpretations (this is why Seal does't print lyrics, yes? Am I correct?). So, I can only offer my personal interpretation; you must choose for yourself, ultimately!

The lyric: "Please forgive me, now I see that I've been blind" leads me to shy away from this one for a wedding song (but it could be a bit nitpicky of me). It sounds like a plea for a lover to take you back...

??

Nonetheless, it is a GREAT SONG (amazing video, too!). Maybe spin it at the reception...?



It does celebrate, uplift, and exalt the word LOVE, after all! The most beautiful word of all!

I LOVE LOVE This song. It one of his best IMO.

I think this song is about his relationship with god.

I think this is a very moving song, one of his best.

Yeah... The whole: "LOVE can help me know my name" seems Godly & other-worldy to me, too.
