He rocked. And he danced with me. I was in row F not on stage but he came over and danced with me and the girl next to me. Right in front of us! A glorious moment. Among many. The King of eye contact and one of the rare ones that has an incredible rapport with the audience. Not too many have that. Didn't see anyone else from here. Was hoping to. Next time. Yes I did but it's the old-fashioned kind that have to be processed! One of these days I will master the digital camera. He was amazing. As an audience we kind of sucked. Not the greatest singers but hey. Some of us tried! Didn't try to see him afterwards. His car was already gone.I hope to meet him again someday. I did miss the old band though. The new guys were great but I miss the old groove.

I will enjoy seeing the photos I was hoping you would get your traditional Seal hug;O) But a dance is so cool!

I was a the Orange County concert last night too. I thought he was really good, the only thing I was disappointed that he didn't perform any of his mellow/slower songs. He performed every song from "System" except the Wedding Song and he didn't sang anything form "Human Being" Most of songs even the few old songs he sang had an upbeat/dance tempo. I thought Nikka Costa was good! I want to get her c.d when it comes out next month. My husband was really enjoyed the concert. That was his first time seeing Seal in concert and he too is from England. I was more excited for my husband seeing Seal in concert than me seeing Seal in concert.

I Know, Allyson. I did miss Seal's old band. His new band was good even though it was just three or four of them. They were all dressed alike, cute.

What a show! My husband even commented that he thought it was one of his best ones yet! I thought it was a little more choreographed than his usual shows with his entrance and all. I thought the band was a great match with this tour.. cute with their matching suits in black with Seal in all white. ( and yes, the white scarf is kind of growing on me). I was happy to see that a lot of people danced. The last concert at the Pacific most people around me sat. It seemed that the crowd had energy! Seal's Vienna was strong and powerful.. a great cover of the song! He did a great playlist I think! With his aim of System being a dance album, I think he did a great job getting the crowd moving. He does such a great job making contact with the audience and making us feel warm and fuzzy! He was really happy to have the support and kept mentioning it was nice that we have all stuck around with him through it all.

Wanted merchandise but they did not sell any at all..which is strange. I would have bought a Nikka Costa cd..she was great! I would have liked to have added a new Seal shirt as well. Guess I will have to wait for new items online

The keyboardist/vocals guy's wife and children sat in front of us. It was cute. The girls were waving to their dad and saying "You are doing a great job, Daddy!"


One day I would love to go backstage and meet him... one day...

I am fortunate though to have the opportunity to go see him and feel very lucky that I have so many times.

Hey all - I was down in the front row in the circle section and he came over during The Right Life and we sang together - it was awesome - anyone see me? There was a lot of material but I am still confused as to why there is this great new album...... oh wait - we are having an earthquake......whoa - thats live from California... scary!

Anyway why the new album and only one show in Calif.... or the US for that matter....anyone....anyone?

No, that wasn't me. He came over to the other side and just danced with us from our seat. I turned to the girl next to me and said "Seal just danced with us!." And she said "Yes he did."

Thank you. I like this one. It contains a link to a set list, which is totally rare in a review. I've never seen that before. That link also provides context as to what was going on musically in L.A. that night. Very nice.
