I saw Seal on 10/11/2005 at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center in Lancaster California.
Awesome, awesome show!! You obviously love what you do and it shows. My question though. Who was your opening act? I know her name is Hope
but I can find nothing on her. I enjoyed her music as well, especially her voice. I recocnized one of her songs on a Red Cross commercial. Any idea where I can find out more about her and possibly pick up some of her music. I'm not switching sides though. You're still Da'man!

I have a 17 month old girl who's been "listening" to your music since before she was born, not to mention that I have been an admirer since hearing your first song. Just seemed like a logical direction to branch out

I don't think I've posted a question for you Seal until today... I've been told by so many people that I have a talent for writing, but my world is so private in some ways. My words are all that I own. I write lyrics for songs and also poems. I see that there is room to develop further, but that potential for a great song to be birthed exists in what I write. I find now that I am also making soul connections with other writers. Identifying my words with something they have expressed in a different or similar manner... I guess my question for you would be this primarily, when did you know that you wanted to sing? I enjoy singing and I have performed in various capacities for others, but I know myself that I'm not of that caliber of commercial entertaining. I feel as though my lyrics are however good enough to be sold commercially and go into mainstream and I want to write. Any advice how I might break into the songwriting circle or work with composers also would be much appreciated. Anyone else in the "Buiz" is welcome to answer also.

Hi Masa, if you take the song as a whole then the words may reflect that special person that he loves. In Seal's case that would be Heidi And in everyone else's case we can insert our spouses if married, or boyfriends/girlfriends if not married. Peace, Janet

Hi, I am a new member, after yesterday's concert in Zagreb, Croatia.
I sent an e-mail to Seal starting from his official site, but it returned! Does anybody know his current e-mail address? I know that he answers not very often, but anyway I wanted to say a few words!

My favourite all time SEAL song has got to be VIOLET. But the thing that gets me about this song is the voices in the background (im not mental or psycho ) i was just wondering what they are saying and why choose those lines??? THANK YOU

Seal, Have you been inspired by any of the messages on your blog to incorporate lyrics of a "fans" experience into one of your songs?

Welcome everyone I am happy to hear the concert in coatia went well attracted many people from around the world. Seal does do blogs on the BIO page. if that helps he has notes about making contact with us about questions. The other suggestion is for those who do music to scroll up and get ahold of a fellow Seal fan and make music, seems lyricist, singers and even performers may be the audience you have written to. Never know who may have what. Also, get a book on publishing, copyright laws and an agent. One thing I have learned is doing it yourself is too personal so a preofessional is often the way to go to get the job done.

I've written an entire album for Seal and am currently doing nothing to get it to him or to anyone else in his entourage'. I'm happily sitting on it for a while.

Dear Seal & friends: why HumanBeing havent been re released remastered? personally its Seals master work. Only in ths recent years this work has been recognize and enjoyed as it is supposed to be. I think this things happen when an album is way ahead of ist time. I would love to have that issue in my hands. or maybe i havent see it in the record stores.
And why Seal havent play in Mexico yet?
