Hello!I've been wondering what are Seal's religious views?I also profess 'Love'.I was happy to see how many people do that too.I hope Seal answers this message.

It is unlikely that we should find that out. At one point Seal wore a cross around his neck then he wore a gekko. Some photos are taken without any religous symbolism or imagery of any kind and so far he has kept his music from becoming melancholy because of the reason that noone knows his views. What is know though is that he paints alot of his music with world philosophy. He does yoga which is an involvement or an understanding of the religosity of India. He also uses the words :

It speaks of a chinese philosophy of heaven (circle) the square (earth) are a balance of our known and unkown world which comprises our depth of existance through this relationship of being and supreme being - the earth and its spiritual mother. If you bother with mathmatics the square and the circle have the same dimensionsal size just different relative parts circle being one and the square being 4. Which, 4 the univeral number then becomes the 7 by counting its inside and outside parts totaling 6 adding the heaven it becomes 7. God's number. some systems of chakras call the 6th chakra the '3rd eye.' It's color may sound familiar to you another song off of the album of Seal 1991 ' Violet' or purple.

So my point to telling you all of this is not to tell you Seal's religion but to tell you that as a young man Seal ran away and found a home in the world. His life and background are well, diversified. To settle down into one culture having been spawned by so many would be dissassociating the ones that mattered when he was becoming. When he was young and just seal samuel. The world did not consider him to matter. Now he is the SEAL we listen to (which is different than saying the Seal we know) we know intricate details not the intimate ones. Listen. And listen closely you can follow him throughout all of his life and learn about who he is because he tells us so. If you were wondering he started wearing a gekko in the Human Beings album.
