Lol, I went to a Rod Stewart concert in the early 80's and we were in the nosebleed section. The people next to us were toking weed and they were calm and happy. They even let us use their binoculars Wink Needless to say second hand smoke took on a whole new meaning for me that night 'cause I left the concert feeling kinda up in the clouds Razz Thing is when you go to a concert just enjoy and have a good time. It would be cool if people started a chain of holding hands on Get it Together Wink Bet it would mean alot to Seal. Love, Janet

ooooh... what fun!!

i'd imagine seal enjoys getting roses and trinkets that show our love for him, but it probably isn't a good idea to beam them at the stage... especially if you AREN'T up in the front row...

Oooow, I can't wait Big Grin The fedex man brought the tickets yesterday and he laughed at me. He said are you Janet and he tried pronouncing my last name. I said yes and I am going to go see Seal!(in concert) Big Grin I told him I had been "Waiting" for those tickets.

Yipppie! I was so excited the delivery man laughed, and I hurriedly told him thanks, have a good day, and then I scurried through the door to open the package.

I had to check you know? Hehehe! Make sure they were real and I could go again Wink

On Concert Rules and Regs:

Proper Etiquette just seems to fly out the window at a Seal concert. You gotta get up and groove.

"If I am blocking someone's view then I will be curteous and move over a bit, but hey whether you can see the band, or not..."move to the groove!!!"

At Chastain everyone brings in food and beverage, so coolers and small tables can be in the isles, but I plan on "moving in place"...How could I not? I mean sitting still in a chair should be an etiquette no,no! If you want to wiggle...WIGGLE Cool

I was bad last time in 2005 and sang/hollared a bit till I was hoarse, but what fun!

"Wow, what an electrifying night! The energy was amazing and I totally loved it."

If you are lucky enough to go to a concert...make it the best night ever and dance like there is no tomorrow Wink...or until you are pooped...hehehe! That is the best Etiquette I can give..."Let the Love Loose...and Get your Groove On"...Dance!

Love to all, Janet

YOU GOT YOUR TICKETS!

It's real..really REAL!!!!!

When I have seen Seal, I always tell the people behind me "I am so sorry you got stuck behind me, but I stand and yell the entire time."

Each time I have done that, people laugh and thank me for telling them.

Guys, I have a question.

Me and my friends were talking about music the other day,and I told them that I loved Seal. They replied that Seal sings rather quiet at live performances.I didn't believe them, and told them it wasn't true but they kept on convincing me.Is that true?I've never been to a concert of Seal and I can't tell.

CrazyDiamond,

I have seen Seal 3 times and I would hardly say he sings quiet... Big Grin

Maybe there was bad sound where your friends saw him.

Hi Minx,

A cast from the shoulder down? I send healing wishes your way! Are you having rotator cuff surgery? Much love is sent, and I hope you can still go to the concert at Merriweather.

Hugs, Janet

Thanks Janet....I plan on going to the concert no matter what!!! even if I am a little "lightheaded" LOL from the pain meds Wink its actually for ulnar nerve (and maybe median nerve) transpositions and releases ..in 2 spots the possible scoping of shoulder to see whats wrong there..possibly more nerves to move..and shortening of the ulna bone...all of this caused by years of picking up heavy patients on the ambulance...dont get me wrong I loved doing 911 but now my body cant take it anymore.... Trust me...I have been to 5 concerts within 5 different venues...and Seal's performance voice is amazing...nothing quiet about it at all.

I have never seen anybody perform with as much emotions and strength and endurance ever!!!

Matter a fact, I remember at my first Meet & Greet with him, I asked him how he does it to sing the way he does and not loose his voice by the end of the concert!!!

Not sure about other, but I feel Seals voice is live even better compared to his CDs. I know...very hard to accomplish...

It takes a true artist to make that happen. Smile

I met Seal as well. I can tell you this much. That he is a quiet spoken gentleman. But that is his side of being who he is. I don't know Seal personally, but in concert he is able to belt out his music. WHy? because as a musician he is trained to use his voice. WHen he is offstage He is developed to be able to use the strength in his voice. But being a gentleman he feigns much of his direct speech to make others feel more comfortable around him. He doesn't have to. But when he opens up. You can see his frame is built to handle the pressure and sustain that pitch. His body is strong. His voice is powerful.

DOn't let your friends talk bad about seal. He may not be cool like putting his name on notebooks like posers in high school did with Black Sabbath, Ac/DC and Nirvanna. He may not be as historically known as Simon Or Garfunkel. But his lyrics are rated among the best in his class. All musicians from everywalk appreciate and attend Seal concerts. I was there and seen people wearing the ear pieces and the black suits. They stood the entire time. They did not watch the concert. Get my drift.

Who would play Seal. College proffessors having a bar-b-que entertaining old college friends.

A lighting technician who has been on the road for most of his life doing his profession. Of all the concerts and of all the shows to recall. Several selections could be of Seal.

A mother of 3 who has 2 kids in school and one in the running stroller. She may have Seal on her mp3 player.

Radio disckjockeys. in North Carolina (if you have not heard the recording) apperciate Seal and add him to the line-up often.

Many people listen to Seal. The past Grammy awards ceremony for 2007 Burt Bacharach did the ceremony with Seal who gave a presentation to the winner from (I forget what category) presented to the winner and award. Seal was publicly asked by this artist to write a song together. It was suggested that they should. Seal could be in the CD selection of Burt Bacharach. How about that. Tell your friends however Seal sings plenty of people hear him loud and clear.

G.
