Hi, Glenda and Rita, fortunately for me I have spoken to several members on the phone, and met a few of them. It was like we had known eachother for years. We all just bonded. It was so cool. That it’s going to happen with me soon, we are having a Seal concert in April whom I’m going, and hopefully I’m going to met same people from the forum.
Actually I’m going to meet Dreams soon he is from Porto to. So is going to be fun.
But is always strange talking with somebody we don’t know, and actually be a true friend.

Hello everyone... remember when I had come into the chat room one day and made so many wonderful friends? Also remember that I had a fiance and we were supposed to be this great couple. Well, I am happy to say it is no more. After Jerry pulled that stunt I let him go. I mean, if a man has the guts to tell your friends such horrible lies and make people not trust you, then why the hell are you engaged to him? It turns out that he has been in some relationships before where he'd been too domineering. Well, that's what happened here. Jerry was so afraid to lose me that he tried to cut me off from everyone even people on the intranet. I am so sorry for all of those who were deeply hurt by Jerry's actions. I am also deeply touched that you would cry for me. I felt so loved yet so sad when I read the post from Janet. I wish I could come into the room and post more but my illness (which was true) has taken much of my ability to do much. Some days are good some days are bad. But I am so glad to have Seal and people like Janet as well as my son to brighten my day. Thank you all for listening. And best of luck to Seal & Heidi!

Beth you are so right seal ,janet and all the people on here have made my day at some point sometimes had me laughing out loud especially when talking about the ny dinner for jeymes. its nice to have a place that brings a smile to your face on a grey day like today. Children are also a gift one little giggle from them can melt you and brighten your day. i hope you are feeling ok take care luv sue xx

i know this sounds weird but do you ever smell something and it takes you back to a place or a situation etc? i cant stand the smell of leather satchels/breifcases cos it reminds me of school ( which was approx 30 years ago) and it gives me butterflies in my stomach cos i didnt like school i always went and did my best but i found it a very daunting place to be academically even though i did have fun with good friends. do you have a similar feeling ? if you dont mind sharing i'd love to know thanks luv sue xx

I feel fortunate to have many of those moments. And all are nostalgic. I can not say I recall any that left me with a feeling of dislike. My childhhod (by some measure may have been hard)was like a rainbow, I was always out discovering and here I am today still in wonderment.
These are the things that I loved/love most.

I love the "touch" of:
The sun's ray's on a lazy afternoon.
A child's small hand in mine
The presence of another radiating peace and inner beauty.
Afternoon naps

I love the "smell" of:
Soil after a summer rain
Coffee in the morning
Baby lotion after their bath
Cinnamon

I love the "taste" of:
Fried chicken
Home made bread
A sweet kiss

I love to "see":
A kind gesture from one to another
Green pastures that go on forever
Morning glories opening at the break of dawn
Fluffy white clouds

I love the "sounds" of:
Children talking to angels
(some call imaginary friends)
A baby's coo
Hearty laughter
Wind chimes

for me these are the things life is made of and the simplicity of it all keeps it in perspective.

I love your poem PJC I love the smell of hickory wood when camping, and of leather...reminds me of horseback riding as a teen, I love the fresh smell after a rain, I love the baby powder smell after a baby has had a bath, I love the smell of pipe tobacco...reminds me of my dad, I like the scent of vanilla when baking, and also cinnamon. Oranges and raspberries have a wonderful fresh smell.

Now, does that not give you warm "fuzzy's"
inside? It is amazing, though we are in the here and now those emotions are readily available anytime to pick of the cherry tree in one's mind.

soz i hate cinnamon, and leather only bags tho.but windchimes i have to buy 1 every time i go to the sea side. its now a compulsion i think. anything connected with my babies and their growing is special to me and their dad. but any childs laughter is a lift even to someone who feels low. a comic in uk said if you ever need lifting listen to chilren playing it will lift you and it does . luv sue xx

or the first time two forum members from opposite sides of the globe actually sat side by side and logged into chat together?? (very very very surreal!)

remember when we used to have 'chat birthday parties'? when badger badger and weeeeee! were just party favor offerings?

or recall when the board was 'infiltrated' by duranies and hugh jerkoff... er... jackman fans?

who can forget that everyone MUST bring their party pants... that babes intro was always 'FREEEKS!'... and the two most famous words that lifey ever says to anyone, which is 'DUMP HIM!!'... only some of us listened and were better for it!
