haha yep Sue I agree too

But growing older is a good thing truly, if we are aware
of what we know or what we think we know as each day or year passes.

I try and enjoy each day fully, even the not so good days (have not gotten down to the breath yet but working on it HAHA).
Helps me to stay younger really taking each day at a time.

But personally I fluctuate between 12 and 21

It seems like Seal is so honest with himself, and giving out great messeges that can really inspire whoever may be listening. His beliefs and thoughts in his lyrics have effect on people who may be looking for advice with their own lives.

The sound of Seals voice is like your own
soul singing to you, reminding why/how
to go on.

The lyrics are there to put the sometimes
unexplainable into words that everybody will
understand. I quote his lyrics so many times in everyday life and seen them all work so beautifully.

Melodies are so timeless & unique. Back in the days, when I first heard Crazy, I shot off into that planet of pure blizz, and still do today with all that followed that song.

Wow I agree Sketch , Delfine really nailed it there! Can't imagine life without Seal's music it has been a large part of the soundtrack to my life thus far.

He is an inspiration for us to look into ourselves and see that we are not so different from everyone else...that is how we can all come together on this site through understanding and love Janet

They are songs that remind you of the past, and help you visualize the future.

Absoluttely one of the best topics in the forum!

I have to be honest,I didn't reed all the replys, but here's what I think:

Seal's Lyrics are very important.He says what he feels, but, most of all, he allways say something that has to do with some part of our lives and you think "How come this guy knows exactly how I feel about it?".He allways has one word, one phrase that seems to be taken from my own life and in so many ocasions I can use them to describe the things that are happening to me.

But, he seems to like not to show his lyrics in his records and , he's right.We should have the freedom to think for ourselves and to anderstand them as they touch us the best...

It is in here that he shows the other part that it is important...his VOICE. He has the voice of an Angel and I have to say no more....He's an ANGEL.

He's like a Prophet to me. The angel that's always present in my life...


In another way, this forum is the image of what he tries to do with the world...to bring people together.

Seal's lyrics are very personal. It's like he is sharing a part of himself. Sometimes it feels like he is singing just to me. "Don't cry, my baby. I'm your sedative. Take a piece of me whenever you can." "Life goes on." He connects on such a deep level that it's hard to describe it. He sings from the heart which then resonates with our hearts. The sound of his voice is perfect for the words he sings. He soothes. He makes you dance and cry. He is a master of sound vibration and how it affects emotions. There are a few others that affect me like this but not on this level. Simple Minds has a song with the lyric: "Sanctify, sanctify yourself. Open up your heart. Be a part of me. Sanctify." That is what Seal does.
